)-- Joan Inglis, owner and lead designer of Carolina Spaces, LLC - a home staging and model home merchandising company based near Charlotte, NC - has won her seventh award in a year.
Recently, Lake Norman Home Builders Association held its annual Best of the Lake Design Competition and Inglis was awarded First Place for Interior Design in the category Project Value $5,000 to $15,000.
Inglis won for fully furnishing and staging a custom spec home located in the Charlotte Region. The home was furnished and staged completely with high end inventory owned by Carolina Spaces, Inglis' company. Judges were composed of construction and design professionals from the Carolinas.
Active in three local and two state home builders associations, Inglis chaired the 2011 Best of the Lake Design Competition Committee for Lake Norman HBA, and was responsible for managing the competition and the awards banquet.
