Suspect Caught with Stolen Equipment After Sonitrol Pacific Detection

Tigard, OR, December 31, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Deputies arrested a suspected burglar as he attempted to make his getaway carrying computer equipment from a business secured by Sonitrol Pacific after the security system detected the break-in December 29.

“The monitoring system works,” owner Tom Beck said. “The beeping must have alerted the guy, but the police responded very quickly and they found him on the side of the building with our computer equipment in his possession.”

Sonitrol Pacific Monitoring Operator Joe Orsborn received the security system activation from The Beck Group just after 4:30 a.m. He heard a door open and took action.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies were on scene in minutes and caught the suspect as he attempted to flee. He was carrying property from the business when apprehended.

“You handled everything very well from your end,” Beck said of the Sonitrol Pacific team, particularly praising Orsborn’s efforts.
