John comes to Jenkins with a vast background in storage and retail sales. Prior to this appointment, John served as a Regional Vice President for Sovran Self Storage, a publicly traded self storage REIT (SSS). While at Sovran, John led a team of 8 district managers and 120 stores covering 8 states, representing 275 employees and $62 Million in annual sales. John is well versed in store level operations, local marketing initiatives, revenue management, internet strategy and structuring policy and procedure.
He also has a 20 year extensive background in retail sales including specialty retail, discount retail, department store retail and deep discount retail.
