Bobby Johnston, IIDA, LEED ID+C, Joins Jova/Daniels/Busby Architects as Director of Interior Design Operations

Atlanta, GA, March 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Atlanta-based Architectural, Interior Design and Planning firm, Jova/Daniels/Busby (JDB), announces the addition of Bobby Johnston as Director of Interior Design Operations.

Reporting directly to the Sr. Vice President and Director of Interior Design, Bobby will be responsible for oversight of interior design project management, staffing, scheduling and production as well as assisting with the coordination of joint projects within the architectural division in the firm.

A respected leader in the field of interior design, Bobby brings with him over 25 years experience in interior design, technical and project management. His broad experience encompasses retail, hospitality and public sector projects ranging from tenant development, strategic planning, space planning, design, construction documentation and project administration. Notable work includes projects for Cox Enterprises, Maharam Textiles, The Travelers Companies, MTV Networks and Kilpatrick Townsend.

Bobby holds Master of Science, Interior Design and Bachelor of Music Education degrees from Florida State University, is LEED ID+C (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – Interior Design and Construction) accredited and is a member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association). He currently serves on the Interior Design Advisory Board at Florida State University.

In 1996 Bobby was awarded both the DuPont Antron Design Award for his work on the Cartoon Network project and the NEOCON Showroom Design Award for his work on the Maharam project.
