Farmers & Merchants Bank Names Frank Coleman Chief Auditor

Long Beach, CA, March 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Farmers & Merchants Bank (F&M) has named Frank Coleman chief auditor, where he will oversee all internal auditing practices for the Bank’s 21 branches in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. This will include the management and implementation of internal policies, procedures and processes to mitigate risk and facilitate the expansion of the Bank’s products and services.

“Frank will play an integral role in F&M’s ongoing commitment to transparency, compliance and risk mitigation,” said Henry Walker, F&M’s chief executive officer. “His depth of experience will further strengthen our internal auditing practices and give us a platform for future growth.”

Coleman brings more than 30 years of diversified corporate and public accounting experience, primarily in the financial services industry. He previously served as the senior audit manager with Wells Fargo, where he was responsible for the audit department’s strategic planning and execution, as well as developing and managing the annual audit plan. Coleman also played an active role in enhancing the bank’s audit policies, processes and tools.

Coleman’s prior experience includes positions as senior audit manager with KPMG LLP and director of risk and advisory services also with KPMG LLP. Coleman holds a bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina–Charlotte and is a certified public accountant (North Carolina).
