Christie's International Real Estate Announces Promotion of Jarvis Slade, Jr., to Chief Operating Officer

Expanded Role to Include Management of Global Affiliate Operations and High-Profile Bespoke Program.

New York, NY, March 15, 2012 --( Jarvis Slade, Jr., most recently Managing Director, Americas, for Christie’s International Real Estate, will now assume the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer, reporting directly to Neil Palmer, Chief Executive Officer.

In this expanded global role, Mr. Slade’s executive management responsibilities will now expand to include Affiliate servicing and steering the Bespoke Marketing Program in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Previously, he had overseen these businesses in the Americas only.

“Since joining the company in 2010, Jarvis has been highly effective in building processes to better welcome new Affiliates to our network and forge more meaningful relationships with our existing Affiliates,” says Neil Palmer. “He leads the team that built our Bespoke Program into a world-leading marketing platform for ultra-high value properties through enhanced exposure to our client base of qualified buyers and through Christie’s, the world’s leading art business.

“The network will benefit enormously by charging him with implementing this successful business model throughout the America’s and EMEA,” Neil Palmer adds.

A graduate of Stanford University, Mr. Slade served as president of Abercrombie & Kent Residence Clubs prior to joining Christie’s International Real Estate. He had a 20-year career with American Express, managing the company’s U.S. travel business, and also worked for Booz Allen Hamilton in Dallas, Texas.
