Beijing Tianyan Rongzhi, a specialist in the provision of software and training to education organizations will work with Lanner to increase adoption of WITNESS within the 65 universities already using the software, as well as new universities and teaching establishments. As part of the agreement, Beijing Tianyan Rongzhi will become the primary WITNESS reseller to Chinese schools.
In parallel, Beijing Hi-Key Technology Corporation, Ltd, a leading provider of engineering software, training and support in China, will help to extend Lanner's footprint in the Defense and Aerospace industries. "Following on from our landmark project with Xugong, China's largest manufacturer of construction machinery and the biggest and most successful simulation project undertaken in China to date, these agreements represent further evidence of our commitment to increasing our profile in the region," comments David Jones, CEO, Lanner.
He continues, "The China market is developing well and the understanding of the benefits of use of simulation, amid a business environment of increased automation and rising resource costs, is increasing at the fastest pace since we entered this market.
"China is an important part of Lanner's growth strategy, and as part of this, we need to work with the very best channel partners in the region. Beijing Tianyan Rongzhi is the market leader in providing quality software to Chinese universities, and Hi-Key's expertise in the defense and aerospace sector, combined with a strong track record of introducing simulation software to the Chinese market, means it is well aligned with Lanner's vision."
