Since joining Grand Mercure Hongqiao in 2007, Joshua Cao has played an important role in improving operational results as well as growth of the hotel’s network. After five years experience as Director of Sales and Marketing, other senior management positions in Sofitel Hyland and The panorama Shanghai, Joshua was appointed as Executive Assistant Manager in Grand Mercure Hongqiao before being promoted to Resident Manager.
As the Resident Manager at Grand Mercure Hongqiao, Joshua is overlooking all operational departments and dotes on Finance and Human Resource. He remarked, “To be honest, this promotion came as quite a surprise. I’d like to think it’s mainly recognition of the teamwork, above and beyond the call of duty, in our hotel. ”
Mr. Joshua Cao has extensive hotel experience in hospitality industry. He brings up both his managerial performance and leadership skills during these years of works. He also made a large contribution to redefining the hotel’s policy. Otherwise, he was responsible for setting up effective management of the hotel’s cost. Joshua has been selected to attend the Accor International Hotel Management Program.
