Lisbon, Portugal, May 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Avila Business Centers, a company of turnkey physical spaces for renting and leader in the virtual offices market, announces that its Virtual Office project (myOffice application) won a CIO Award 2012 during the CIO Summit 2012 which has an objective to spread IT and communication projects with impact in organization businesses, and good practices at a national and international level. This is an event with the IDC signature, a company worldwide leader in the market intelligence area. After winning the Call Center trophy in 2011, the Avila Business Centers stands out once again winning this important award.

The myOffice application is a Pioneer Project at an international level and presents itself as the perfect solution for professionals and companies not needing a permanent Office, but who require a strong corporate image with the support of a Professional secretariat which guarantees the treatment of all information.

The myOffice application was developed by the Avila Business Centers, a 100% national company, leader in this market in Portugal. This virtual office application, which is available for iPhone and Android mobile devices, was developed in partnership with the Portuguese companies Swipe Twice and WATERDOG mobile, responsible for the placing of the product on the Apple App Store and on the Android Market, respectively.

Since the application is oriented towards an increase of the entrepreneurship productivity, it works as well on the computer, with automatic integration to the email and SMS, allows the Business Center to be always in contact with the client. The myOffice shows the client all the information online and in real time (messages, telephone calls, correspondence arrival) and also allows him to use this same platform to book online meeting rooms in office centers of other countries.

The CIO Summit 2012 took place at Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon, and counted, among other speakers of nominated companies with the presence of Carlos Gonçalves, CEO of the Avila Business Centers which presented the Avila Business Centers’ Case Study: Virtual Office (myOffice application).

“The Virtual Office is changing the way companies and professionals work. Many times it does not pay off to buy or to rent an office when we can work anywhere, having a professional secretariat, prestige address and temporary work spaces,” said Carlos Gonçalves.

The responsible was clearly proud with this distinction which, besides testifying the quality of the solution, shows the nature of the myOffice as business enabler. “The myOffice was created with a technological basis precisely to ensure the adaptation to companies’ needs and an optimization of its procedures. We feel it is an added value for the daily basis of our clients, and this nomination gives us even more confidence in the myOffice.” Besides, this award “will reinforce the notoriety this app already has at an international level, making it easier for its internationalization process in the Software as a Service model, which predicts the constitution of an International Network of Office Centers using the myOffice app,” concludes the responsible.
