Wayne Schulman, Sales Manager of Bogen Imaging's Video Products division said, For me the key reason for creating The Bogen Imaging Film and Video Short 2006 Contest is to help facilitate the sharing of ideas and techniques within the independent and student filmmaker community.

Better quality content creation helps everyone in the business, continued Mr. Schulman. Supporting independent filmmakers helps to keep creative decisions and economic power in the hands of many rather than in the hands of a few powerful media giants. The contest also happens to coincide with the release of a new Formatt Filter DVD that I hope will help people create better video.
