New Taylor Morrison Denver Executive Has More Than 25 Years of Industry Experience Including Del Webb, Pulte Homes.

Denver, CO, June 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Taylor Morrison Denver announced today that Bob Eck has joined the company as vice president of Land Resources.

Eck brings more than 25 years of experience in land development and acquisition to the Denver division, having previously overseen projects for Pulte Homes/Del Webb, among others.

"Bob's extensive experience in leading and managing the acquisition, planning, entitlement and development of real estate projects will be a tremendous asset to our division," said Kip Gilleland, division president for Taylor Morrison Denver. "He understands market trends, project feasibility and complex property negotiations and is a trusted resource in the Denver area. We intend to make full use of those skills."

Eck spent the last six years providing real estate consulting and project management services through his company, Land Asset Strategies, LLC.

Eck previously served as a division president for Pulte Homes/Del Webb, directing all aspects of a 2,659-acre, multiple use master-planned community that featured active adult residential units, multi-generational units and significant commercial and mixed-use components.

In his time with Del Webb, Eck also served as vice president of Planning and Development for Del Webb's East Region and vice president of Land Development for Del Webb's Sun City projects in Huntley, Ill., and Georgetown, Texas.

Eck is a graduate of Michigan Technological University with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Taylor Morrison currently offers Denver-area homes for sale in seven communities throughout Colorado, including the recently unveiled Lakes at Westwoods in Arvada and Wildhorse Ranch in Golden, which is now open for presales.

The Colorado homebuilder also announced in April that all of its new home communities will now carry energy ratings based on the nationally-recognized system HERS®Index ratings, giving Denver homebuyers an opportunity to discover energy-efficient homes for their families. The HERS®Index is part of the company’s new “Elem3nts” program, which stresses environment, energy and efficiency in the building of new Taylor Morrison homes.
