CIS’ Krzeminski Receives 2012 Ted Keys Honorable Mention Award

Philadelphia, PA, June 17, 2012 --( Compliance Implementation Services (CIS), a leading life sciences consulting firm, today announced that Tim Krzeminski, Director of Audit Services, has been selected to receive a 2012 Ted Keys Honorable Mention Award for his article, “Don’t Get Burned,” published in the “Risk Watch” section of the June 2011 Internal Auditor issue. The article was selected for its outstanding quality, clear presentation of ideas, practicality, and relevance to the continuing practice of internal auditing.

“It is an honor for The Institute of Internal Auditors, its Board of Directors, and selection committee to consider my publication for this award,” said Tim Krzeminski, Director Audit Services at CIS. “By writing this article, I was able to convey that as organizations transition many operations to third-party vendors, internal auditors need to examine the increased risks in outsourcing. I plan to continue writing best practice articles for the IIA and providing resources through CIS to benefit professionals in the field.”

The Ted Keys Award is named in honor of the late Elmer Theodore Keys, Jr., a long-time regular writer for Internal Auditor, and is presented each year for the most outstanding article submitted to one of the magazine’s departments. Notification of the award will be posted on The Internal Auditor Institute’s website beginning in July.
