B2B Bash Comes to New York City to Create Sustainable Connections for Small Businesses and Non Profits

Inaugural Networking Event Serves as a “First Date” for Business Executives and Comes to the Gansevoort Park Rooftop on September 13

New York, NY, June 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In today's unpredictable business climate, small businesses and not-for-profits need innovative ways to get the attention of their consumers and donors with the goal of ultimately increasing their bottom line. A new networking event coming to New York City called, the B2B Bash, will work to bridge the gap between the for-profit and not-for-profit communities by helping to create and build the relationships that are so necessary in this global economy. The “B2B Bash: A social life for your business" will be held on Thursday, September 13, from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., at the Gansevoort Park Rooftop (420 Park Avenue South, New York, NY 10016).

Lack of access to capital and funders, dealing with labor issues and funding employee benefits are just a few of the crucial issues facing for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in today’s economy. According to a recent article by Brad Kime, President of CNBC, which says, “increasing Main Street’s access to capital is a key piece of our economic recovery. The millions of local businesses nationwide represent a critical segment of the economy, yet the vast majority cannot secure financing. According to a recent survey by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, only 16 percent of small businesses that seek financing receive the full amount they need.” Today more than ever, businesses and not-for-profits need to reach beyond traditional methods and connect with their community at large for their consumers, donors and their resources. Strategic partnerships and sharing ideas and solutions with like-minded and complementary businesses is a perfect way to begin.

“We created the B2B Bash to act as a conduit between businesses and not-for-profit organizations. More often than not, people attend networking events and do nothing but collect business cards. This is not the way to grow your business,” said Monica Jones, president of 3D Studios and creator of the B2B Bash. “Business is about relationships. We want the B2B Bash to help create relationships that will be beneficial and will lead to growth. Moreover, we want our attendees to treat the B2B Bash like a first date…a beginning.”

The B2B Bash will bring together businesses and not-for-profit organizations in both an informal and a guided networking event. The event will allow business owners and executives to get in front of the people who can be most beneficial to their business or organization. The B2B Bash will also cater to those who just want to talk business in a more relaxed and social environment, with cocktails, music and an emcee. For the seasoned networker, there will be an open networking format that will allow them to meet as many people as time permits. For those who want a more targeted approach or who need a little hand holding, the B2B Bash will also have facilitated networking.

Sponsors of the B2B Bash in New York City are the Gansevoort Park Rooftop and The ONE Group. To become a sponsor, contact Monica Jones at (212) 491-7318.

The cost for the B2B Bash will be $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Advance ticket purchasers will become “B2B VIPs” and will have access to one-on-one networking groups. To purchase tickets and for more information on the B2B Bash, visit www.b2bbash.com.
