Seth Kahan Moderates World Bank Conference in Washington, DC, “Mobilizing Knowledge Networks for Development”

Executive change expert, Seth Kahan, served as moderator at the World Bank Conference, “Mobilizing Knowledge Networks for Development,” in Washington, DC, sharing trends in demand for knowledge services and implications for knowledge organizations.

Bethesda, MD, July 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Seth Kahan moderated a two-day program, “Mobilizing Knowledge Networks for Development” at the World Bank Group Conference, June 19-20 in Washington, DC. There were over 500 attendees, 300+ on site and almost 200 virtual participants from locations around the world.

Kahan, a change leadership expert, bestselling author and highly regarded speaker, shared the workshop’s goal of understanding trends in demand for knowledge services and implications for knowledge organizations. He facilitated concurrent breakout sessions on topics including: Collaboration, Grassroots Practitioners, Policy and Research, KM Practices, Platforms to Focus on Special Topics and Evaluation, and Results. The event ended with conversations on insights, lessons, and ideas to share, and what’s next for knowledge for development community.

The event included a Conference and Knowledge fair that provided an opportunity for knowledge organizations working in development to learn from one another about their knowledge services, practices, and successes and challenges in providing these services.
