Trianz Announces Appointment of Tom Hughes as Director of Client Partner Organization

Santa Clara, CA, August 18, 2012 --( Trianz, a global consulting and turnkey execution services firm, brings on board Tom Hughes as Director of Client Partner Organization to its leadership team.

Tom Hughes began his career in information technology in 1980 with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and held a number of managerial and technical positions. He also worked for Texas American Services, Inc., Peer Services, Inc., and Lomas & Nettleton. In 1989, as consolidation in the banking and financial sector started to accelerate, he joined Boole & Babbage as a sales professional, spending 11 years supporting customers across the US with the company’s MainView and Command/POST Enterprise Systems Management offerings.

In 1999, Boole & Babbage was acquired by BMC Software and Tom moved into account leadership role with BMC. At BMC, Tom was responsible for the company’s entire portfolio of solutions for a select set of household name customers.

He joined the IBM Software Group in 2005 serving in a cross-brand role to cover very large System z accounts. In 2010 he moved into the Tivoli Brand as a Tiger Team Resource, then into the role of Worldwide Tivoli Automation Portfolio Leader. In 2012, Tom became responsible for the entire Tivoli Automation Product Portfolio for the Eastern US.
