Technology Transfer Firm’s Presence in Nation’s Capital Led by Dartmouth MBA Danielle McCulloch.

Apex, NC, August 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Laura A. Schoppe, president of Fuentek, LLC (http://www.fuentek.com/), a local consulting firm that provides intellectual property (IP) and technology transfer services, has announced that the firm has expanded to include consultants in Washington, D.C. The relocation of Fuentek’s Danielle McCulloch, a senior technology transfer consultant, helps the company meet the needs of clients in and around the nation’s capital, solidifying Fuentek’s role as a key authority on technology transfer to and from government agencies. The move also allows Fuentek to strengthen its relationships with tech transfer offices at area corporations and universities.

Since joining the Fuentek team in 2008, McCulloch’s skill and experience have proved invaluable in client and other strategic business relationships. She has been instrumental in establishing and strengthening tech transfer intern programs at several universities, and has conducted numerous training sessions on tech transfer topics. She has also led Fuentek’s consulting services at several federal laboratories. McCulloch is particularly skilled at examining IP portfolios in order to identify the technologies with the greatest potential for commercialization success, and developing and implementing an effective marketing strategy based on that information. Her fields of technical expertise are broad, ranging from manufacturing and advanced materials to high-tech medical devices.
