ArcaMax Publishing Launches Baby Blues and Zits Comic Strips

ArcaMax Publishing (www.arcamax.com), a leading publisher of family-friendly newsletters, has become the first company to send by e-mail Baby Blues and Zits -- comic strips that generated large followings in major newspapers.

Newport News, VA, November 28, 2005 --(PR.com)-- ArcaMax Publishing (www.arcamax.com), a leading publisher of family-friendly  newsletters, has become the first company to send by e-mail Baby Blues and Zits -- comic strips that generated large followings in major newspapers.

"This is a chance for fans of these comics to have Zits and Baby Blues delivered daily to them for no charge," said ArcaMax Publishing CEO Scott Wolf. "We are the first company to send these out by email and we are excited to have this opportunity."

The two comics both deal with parenting, but approach it from different angles.  Baby Blues tells the ongoing story of the MacPhersons and the woes of taking care of young children in their ever-growing family.  On the other end of the spectrum, Zits follows the misadventures of Walt and Connie Duncan as they deal with their teenaged son, Jeremy – and Jeremy's equally difficult time dealing with them.

The comic strips are distributed by King Features Syndicate and are available for free on ArcaMax Web site's Funnies section (http://www.arcamax.com/cgi-bin/news/channel/1001).

ArcaMax Publishing is confident that the two new additions to their Funnies section will appeal to both current subscribers and new readers, Wolf said.

The Web site, which also publishes family and parenting advice, chose Baby Blues and Zits both for their humor and their relevance to families today. Wolf said that readers will be able to relate to these new comics. "As a parent of a teenager and toddlers, I see my life depicted every day in these comics."

Besides daily comics, ArcaMax also publishes a variety of trivia quizzes, jokes, and a hangman vocabulary game in their Funnies section. Baby Blues and Zits joined the mix last week, and are now available at the Web site, or by subscribing at http://www.arcamax.com/cgi-bin/reg . Visitors may subscribe to each comic individually.

ArcaMax Publishing features many other channels and email newsletters, including Parenting, Recipes, Trivia, Jokes, and Entertainment.  For more information, visit http://www.arcamax.com
