Health Management Officer for Benefits Brokerage and Consulting Firm Makes List of Top 100 Registered Nurses in North Carolina

Hutchins joined HCW as the company’s health management officer in 2008. In her position, she assists clients with developing outcome-based wellness programs and obtaining maximum value from medical management programs. Before joining HCW, Hutchins served as the manager for employee health at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina for 19 years. She is involved with several professional organizations, including the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN), North Carolina Association of Occupational Health Nurses (NCAOHN) and the North Carolina Tarheel Association of Occupational Health Nurses (NCTAHON). Hutchins participates in several community organizations, including the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN), Christian Flights International (CFI) with the group’s Haiti ministry and Yates Baptist Church. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from East Carolina University.
