Webinar Announcement: the Importance of Tracking Work in Facilities and Manufacturing Plants

Learn how to increase reliability and save time and money by tracking work.

Chicago, IL, September 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- CMMS Data Group announced today that the Company will host a webinar about tracking work on Wednesday, September 12th at 1:00 p.m. During the webinar, participants will gain an understanding of the importance of tracking work in a facility or a manufacturing plant and why companies cannot afford not to track 100% of all work, especially if any of following statements hold true:

-Downtime is high.
-Internal and external customers are dissatisfied.
-There’s no time to track anything, including work.
-There’s no time to implement a work tracking system.

The presenter will not only discuss the importance of tracking work, but show how easily it can be tracked using MVP Plant* CMMS software by CMMS Data Group. Using MVP Plant, the presenter will walk participants through the process of tracking work, from creating work requests to setting up preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) work orders. Then, the presenter will show participants how to track 100% of all work accurately, paperlessly and wirelessly (paperless work orders) using MVP Capture, a wireless barcode solution add-on for MVP Plant. The presenter will finish the webinar by generating various reports pinpointing where a company should focus its attention to increase reliability and save time and money.

*MVP Plant is a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) software package, also known as an enterprise asset management (EAM) system or a facilities asset management system (FAMS). Maintenance and facilities managers use the information in a CMMS / EAM / FAMS to increase reliability and save time and money.
