Emily Cummins (MBA, CPA) is Director of Tax and Risk Management for the National Rifle Association of America and its affiliates. Her expertise with tax risks for complex-structure and exempt organizations includes accountability of tax positions, nexus decisions, strategic planning for direct and indirect tax cash flows, technical accounting standards, industry best practices, and tax policy advocacy. Ms. Cummins also advises on wealth transfer tax planning for gifts, trusts, estates, and other high net worth taxpayer and probate cases for 501(c) fund raising. Prior to her six years in-house with the National Rifle Association, Emily Cummins worked for Wachovia (Wells Fargo) and Ernst & Young LLP.
