Campbell Law School Names New Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving

Alumna Megan West Named New Director

Raleigh, NC, October 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Campbell Law School (http://law.campbell.edu) has announced that Megan West has been named director of alumni relations and annual giving at Campbell Law School. A 2010 Campbell Law graduate, West most recently served as an associate attorney at Martin & Jones in Raleigh.

As director of alumni relations and annual giving, West will work to develop and strengthen relationships with alumni and the community. She will also establish an alumni association for the law school, which will include local and regional chapters, plan alumni events and community service projects, and act as a liaison for alumni inquiries.

A native of Murphy, N.C., West graduated from Wake Forest University in 2007 with a B.S. in business. She then attended Campbell Law School, spending time as a student at both the Buies Creek and Raleigh campuses prior to graduating in 2010. As a student, she served as a consulting editor for the Campbell Law Review, was president of the Christian Legal Society, competed in moot court competitions, and was a research assistant for Professors Jean Cary and Greg Wallace.

Since 2010, West has been serving as an associate attorney at Martin & Jones in Raleigh, representing clients in personal injury, products liability, and medical malpractice cases. Prior to Martin & Jones, West interned with the Solicitor General at the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office, Justice Edward Brady at the North Carolina Supreme Court, and Judge Barbara Jackson at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
