The Ankeny Economic Development Corporation held its annual Salute to Industry awards ceremony, Tuesday October 9. The event recognizes local companies and individuals for their contributions and investments in the Ankeny business community. QA Graphics was honored with the Commercial Reinvestment Award.
“The Award for QA Graphics is the Commercial Investment Award to recognize QA Graphics for the investment they have made in their new Ankeny location. This investment is a reflection of QA Graphics’ growth and success,” said Joey Beech, Executive Director, Ankeny Economic Development Corporation. “We know businesses have many demands and choices and we are happy QA Graphics decided to put its roots in Ankeny.”
QA Graphics started out in 2006 in a small office space in Ankeny with just three employees. The company has focused on hiring young and innovative talent, and has empowered them with the tools needed to run with their ideas. Now QA Graphics employees over 30 people and has grown to house two design teams offering comprehensive design services for the building industry as well as a full interactive design team offering interactive applications, mobile apps, animated videos and other multimedia solutions. In spring of 2011 QA Graphics relocated to a brand new office space in Ankeny’s new Prairie Trail development area to account for this growth.
