Bredbaandsmatch.dk Nominated for Startup-Award

Bredbaandsmatch.dk has been nominated for Nordic Startup Awards’ student category – one of the reasons is the international expansion.

Aarhus, Denmark, October 16, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The award is being given by Nordic Startup Awards – a big award show for Nordic companies. Bredbaandsmatch.dk is a guide that helps customers get online in Denmark, and it has been nominated in the category: “NSA Best student startup 2012.”

The website has been founded by Jakob Pedersen who studies information science at Aarhus University. He is very pleased with the recognition from being nominated.

"We have worked hard to make a good guide with higher quality information than our opponents in the market. The nominations shows that we have made the right decisions," says Jakob Pedersen.

One of the reasons for the nominations is the possibility to expand the product, and Jakob Pedersen is already involved in PlugThingsIn.com – a similar site for the American market.

Both sites tries to make it clear to the customers that the websites makes money from advertisement. The two websites earn money when customers buy internet connections through the sites. On both sites professional text writers are writing all the content.

"It’s very important that people understands how internet connections work. It’s quite complex, and therefore it’s important that the texts have a hiqh quality, and we are very focused on writing content that any user will benefit from," explains Jakob Pedersen.

The winner will be announced in November, and you can vote for your favorite on startupawards.co until 26th of October.
