Fairfield Harbour Hosts Seventh Annual Marines Thanksgiving Dinner on Nov. 22

Residents of Local Boating and Golf Community to Share the Thanksgiving Holiday with More Than 75 Marines as Guests in Their Homes

New Bern, NC, November 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Fairfield Harbour (http://www.fhpoa.com), a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, has announced the community’s plans to host more than 75 Marines from Camp Lejeune on Thanksgiving Day. This year approximately 30 community families will open their doors and invite members of the armed forces to dine at their tables alongside family and friends. The Marines are expected to arrive at the Fairfield Harbour community center at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22, where they will be greeted by community residents and escorted to the homes. This year marks the seventh consecutive year that Fairfield Harbour has hosted Thanksgiving dinner for Marines.
