The ACE Award is presented by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) of Central Ohio. The award recognizes professionals in the remodeling industry and vendors that receive a high overall rating on four criteria as judged by consumers who have actually used their products or services. Unlike some other rating services, consumers do not pay a subscription fee to submit a rating or receive a referral.

Consumers have rated all ACE Award recipients on four criteria: 1. Quality of work 2. Professionalism 3. Reliability and 4. Timeliness. In order to receive the NARI ACE Award, the company must be a member of NARI and must receive an average grade of 3.5 or better based on the alphabetic scores submitted by consumers.
