Presented by the Office of Hispanic/Latino Affairs at the Office of Governor Beverly Perdue, the forum will take place at the North Carolina Judicial Center at 901 Corporate Drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The forum will showcase the strength of Hispanic and Latino businesses and entrepreneurs in the state, the integral nature of Hispanic and Latino businesses and the communities they serve, and the future areas of opportunity and concern for the state’s entrepreneurs. Registration for the forum is $15, and spaces are limited.

Born in Colombia, Stewart has led and created several successful businesses including Stewart Engineering, which he founded in 1994. Deeply rooted in the community, Stewart serves on NC State University’s Institute for Emerging Issues Board and committed a multi-year scholarship to the university’s School of Engineering to increase diversity. He is a former board member of Nuestro Banco, North Carolina’s first Hispanic bank, and is the former president of the American Council of Engineering Companies.
