Bracewell Stirling Prepares for a Collaborative Future

Bracewell Stirling signs up to Union Square for AEC Professionals

Nottingham, United Kingdom, December 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Bracewell Stirling Consulting is an architectural practice located in Scotland with offices in Clackmannanshire and Inverness. The practice was established in 1925 and is positioned perfectly to serve Scottish cities as well as the Highlands. With services such as master planning, social housing and commercial developments the practice works on projects for high end users such as Waitrose and Tesco.

Ten years ago Bracewell Stirling adopted a document management system to help assist the practice with the control of information between its two offices. With the system showing its age, Partner David Keith explains the reasoning behind a decision to change. "As a business we're keen to be early adopters of technology. Our existing system was causing inefficiency and an increased workload highlighted the need for a replacement solution. We were struggling to effectively access documents and integrate information between the two offices and wanted a system which would solve this issue."

The practice set about researching a new management solution and with prior knowledge of Union Square's system decided to contact the business for further information. "Having spoken to peers and carried out online research it was clear that Union Square for AEC Professionals would more than meet our requirements. It offered the product and support that we desired and we were convinced that it had longevity and would represent a good investment. The fact the system has a strong focus on the construction industry only added to its appeal."

Union Square for AEC Professionals gives businesses a centralised location for all project, contact, organisation and enquiry information. It allows for integration between multiple offices and secure access to all business information remotely from any PC with an internet connection. David is looking forward to the benefits that the system will bring to Bracewell Stirling; "Having a greater level of standardised project documentation readily available from all locations will be of great benefit to us, allowing people to work from home or on the move as necessary. Another huge advantage will be global access to email correspondence on projects, increasing our efficiency and reinforcing integration across the practice."

David and the team are currently working closely with Union Square's consultants in preparation for the systems switchover in February 2013.
