Langley, WA, February 07, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- SolutionPeople, a leading management training and skills development company and founder of Chicago’s award-winning creative meeting facility the Thinkubator™, and Washington-based Connects Innovation today announced the launch of new innovation performance improvement services and training opportunities for organizations in the Pacific Northwest.
The trainings will focus on proven innovation processes, tools and techniques that can be applied to real-world goals, challenges and opportunities. SolutionPeople trained several leaders at Connects Innovation to become Certified Innovation Trainers. The team will provide Accelerating Innovation Training (AIT) featuring the award-winning KnowBrainer™ innovation tools. AIT helps organizations from Fortune 500 enterprises to non-profits and serial entrepreneurs develop proven management skills, techniques and processes to transform creativity and innovation into business growth.
“As home to some of the world’s leading software, e-commerce, coffee, manufacturing, healthcare and educational organizations, Seattle and the greater Pacific Northwest region are a hotbed for business creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and an imaginative and growing workforce with an aptitude for success,” said Gerald Haman, president and founder of SolutionPeople. “We’re proud to add Connects Innovation as our partner to help business leaders in the Northwest harness the power of these attributes to accelerate innovation for their businesses and for the region.”
The new services will be led by Tim Callison, Robin Black and Christine Mulcahy, co-founders of Connects Innovation, – a veteran team of business consultants with executive leadership, marketing and sales expertise. Tim Callison has over 36 years of global manufacturing experience with a specialization in policy deployment, growth initiatives and talent management. He implemented SolutionPeople’s AIT with tremendous success while in his former position as president, marketing Americas at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions. Robin Black brings over 25 years of expertise in customer creation, expansion and retention for accounts ranging from small start-ups to some of the largest organizations in the United States. Christine Mulcahy contributes over 13 years of experience providing marketing and sales readiness training, including consulting with a leading global software enterprise.
“The old saying, ‘Build it and they will come’ means nothing in the real world. Business innovation doesn’t just happen. It has to be empowered and cultivated,” says Callison. “Connects Innovation delivers innovation training, processes, tools and techniques to help organizations prime the pump with creative ideas and put in place rigorous processes to turn those ideas into dollars.”
