Apex, NC, February 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Laura A. Schoppe, president of Fuentek, LLC (http://www.fuentek.com/), a local consulting firm that provides intellectual property (IP) and technology transfer services, has announced that Nannette Stangle-Castor, a senior technology transfer consultant, will moderate a panel titled “Leveraging Trade Associations in Technology Transfer Marketing” on Saturday, March 2 at the Association of University Technology Managers® (AUTM®) 2013 Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas. The panel will discuss how technology transfer offices can utilize trade associations to enhance communication between their offices and the industries that could benefit from university technologies and research expertise. Drawing on firsthand experiences, the panel will give advice on how technology transfer offices can create effective strategies for hosting and participating in trade association meetings, and how to use them to their best advantage to facilitate marketing efforts.

Dr. Stangle-Castor will moderate a panel consisting of Kimberly Dalgleish-Miller from NASA’s Glenn Research Center and Jennifer Sherer of Southeast BIO.
