Local Solid Waste Consulting Engineering Firm Hires Staff Engineer.

Raleigh, NC, February 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Stacey A. Smith, PE, president of Smith+Gardner, Inc. (http://smithgardnerinc.com), an employee-owned, industry-leading solid waste consulting engineering firm committed to delivering sound, innovative solid waste solutions, has announced that John Fearrington, engineering intern (EI), has joined the company as a staff engineer. In his role, Fearrington will be responsible for assisting with civil site analysis, construction management and construction quality assurance.

He will be an asset to our firm as we continue to provide excellent service in solid waste consulting engineering for clients.”

Fearrington received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a concentration in structural engineering and a minor in business administration from NC State University. In this internship, he assisted in the design of hydrology systems for roadways and gas system hydraulic analysis for sites in North Carolina and Tennessee, as well as the design of training materials for landfill gas systems. He began working with Smith+Gardner, Inc. as an undergraduate intern in September 2011, and he accepted his full-time position with the firm upon graduation.
