TZA Executives Named to 2013 Pros to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine

Charles Zosel and Steve Simmerman honored as top supply chain professionals.

Long Grove, IL, February 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- TZA, a technology and engineering company specializing in the optimization of labor performance and operational effectiveness across the entire supply chain, announced that two executives have been named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine’s prestigious 2013 “Pros to Know” listing. Charles Zosel, Vice President, Labor Management Services, and Steve Simmerman, Senior Vice President, Business Development, were selected for their years of experience, knowledge of supply chain labor management and for leading successful initiatives with clients to improve their workforce and operational performance.

Now in its 13th year, the Supply & Demand Chain Executive “Pros to Know” awards honor individuals from software firms, service providers, consultancies or academia who helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community prepare to meet industry challenges. “If there are those present in the industry who are working to overcome such issues and grow the global supply chain at the same time, they should get the recognition they deserve for their achievements,” said Barry Hochfelder, Editor, Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

Charlie Zosel has more than 18 years of experience focused on the implementation of labor management programs including engineering, technology, and professional management training resulting in client transformation into a high performance operational environment. His résumé includes the implementation of programs for more than 200 clients at 600 facilities. In his role, Zosel has helped TZA clients achieve 10% to 30% or more in labor productivity increases and millions of dollars in savings on an ongoing basis. He is also active in industry events, having recently presented at the annual conferences for WERC, CSCMP and MHI.

Steve Simmerman is a 25 year veteran of the supply chain industry. He developed his skills in labor management systems, integrated material handling solutions, supply chain software and workforce optimization while in leadership roles of business development, sales and marketing in the logistics and supply chain fields. Simmerman is currently a Co-Chair for the Warehousing Education Track for the 2013 WERC Conference and a Track Chair for the 2013 CSCMP Global Conference.
