Eagle Soars Consulting to Sponsor Essay Contest for Participants in Girls on the Run of WNC’s Spring 2013 Season

Participants in this year's Girls on the Run of WNC have the opportunity to win a runner's entry for their Running Buddy by submitting a 300-word essay.

Asheville, NC, April 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Eagle Soars Consulting, an Elite Sponsor of Girls on the Run of Western North Carolina (GOTRWNC), is sponsoring an essay contest for girls participating in the GOTRWNC Spring 2013 Season. Students are asked to write about the person they will be choosing as their Running Buddy for the 5K to be held in Fletcher Park on May 18th. The writer of the best essay from all the schools participating in each county will win one free registration entry for their Running Buddy in this year’s 5K.

Official rules and entry forms can be obtained by visiting the Eagle Soars Consulting website (www.eaglesoars.com) from the GOTR website (www.gotrwnc.org) or from the GOTR team liaison. Each GOTR participant who wants to enter must mail or email their entry form and original 300-word essay. If mailed, the entry form and essay must be postmarked no later than Wednesday, May 1, 2013. All mailed entries should be sent to: Essay Contest Entry, c/o Eagle Soars Consulting, PO Box 7, Flat Rock, NC 28731. All email entries must be received by Friday, May 3, 2013 at alazo@eaglesoars.com.

Girls on the Run of Western North Carolina is a non-profit organization that reaches over 1,200 third through eighth-grade girls in 14 counties across Western North Carolina. Since inception in 2002, they have impacted more than 6,200 girls with their unique curriculum designed to strengthen girls physically, emotionally, and socially so they are better-prepared to face the pressures of adolescence.
