Clearent Announces Mark Sundt as CTO

Mark Sundt brings 25 years of experience to Clearent as CTO.

Mark comes to Clearent with 25 years of experience with technology companies, including key roles at Microsoft. His leadership and leading edge technical experience spanned the project management, architecture, and deployment of 30 of the world’s busiest eCommerce sites, including JC Penny, Lowe’s, and others.

Mark's management of the Central Region Microsoft Dynamics ERP/CRM consulting practice included the oversight of a 50-person team responsible for the implementation of financial and customer relationship solutions across a number of industry segments. More recently, as a cloud computing software architect, he contributed to high volume transaction processing solutions within the intelligence/defense, logistics, and financial services industries.

As CTO, Mark will spearhead Clearent’s ongoing commitment to innovative payments technology. The company’s proprietary back-end processing platform provides distinct advantages not available from other payment processors.
