Fairfield Harbour Community Residents to Sing in Carolina Coast Choral Festival Saturday, May 4

Residents of Local Boating and Golf Community Join Chorale for Festival Concert

New Bern, NC, May 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Fairfield Harbour (http://www.fhpoa.com), a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, has announced residents of the community will make up part of the local 80-member chorale that will sing at the Carolina Coast Choral Festival on Saturday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Garber United Methodist Church, located at 4201 Country Club Road. The festival provides the public a chance to enjoy eastern North Carolina’s most talented singers and choruses as they perform alongside a chamber orchestra, singing Franz Schubert’s “Mass in B Flat” as well as various other compositions. Fairfield Harbour residents are participating under the direction of conductor Dr. Robert A. Harris of Northwestern University and concertmaster Rachel Harmatuk Pino. The festival will also include a concert for children and a choral skills workshop led by Harris for area music directors and singers.
