Legacy Event Planners Hosts Its 1st Scavenger Hunt and Monthly Saturday Market

Legacy Event Planners will be hosting its Monthly Saturday Markets starting May 25th and continuing till October. On June 29th, Legacy will be holding its first Glenwood South Scavenger Hunt.

Raleigh, NC, May 08, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Thrill-seekers, trivia buffs and Raleigh enthusiasts will all come together to compete in the Glenwood South Scavenger Hunt on June 29th. The hunt will begin at 11 a.m. and go until 1 p.m. The hunt will consist of teams of four that will chase down clues scattered across the street. The search will include clues to secret doors, iconic pictures, fun facts, tasty food & beverages and more.

The top three teams will be awarded with gift packages from different vendors. Gifts will include—gift cards & hair products from Bottega Hair Salon, $15 Dos Taquitos gift cards, gift cards to the Cupcake Shoppe, gifts from Ornamentea, earrings & bracelets from Cat banjo, a 50 minute massage from HealthSource, a one night stay at the Hampton Inn, and a one week free pass to O2 Fitness.

“We’re excited to host such a fun and energetic event that will expose locals to the small businesses that make our community so vibrant,” Dina Loftus, Legacy’s Event Coordinator said. Dina is one of many behind the preparation for the event.

Also on May 25th, Legacy Event Planners and the Glenwood South Merchants Association will be starting their Monthly Saturday Markets. The markets will feature 40 vendors set up along North Street and will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The markets will be held the last Saturday of each month until October. Vendors include—O2 Fitness, Good Girls Studio, Wooden Creation, Beauty & Grace, Sugar Magnolia, Miche, Oak City Roasters, Lucky Accessories, New Jewelry Girl, Health Source Chiropractic, Bath Fitter, Gypsy Jule, Belindabilly, Leopold Designs, J & N Jewelry Design, Mary Kay and many more.

“This event is a great opportunity for Raleigh citizens to get involved in supporting their local economy as well as a platform for local businesses to showcase their merchandise amongst residents in the Triangle,” Dina said.
