American Business Awards Bestow a "Stevie" on CloudAccess

Prestigious business award selects CloudAccess' unified cloud-based security platform REACT as a finalist for the New Product, Security Solution.

Los Angeles, CA, June 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- In recognition of advancements in cloud-based security, the American Business Awards named CloudAccess as a Finalist for the 2013 Stevie® Award.

CloudAccess, a leader in unified security as a service from the cloud, was selected in the New Product or Service of the Year - Software - Security Solution category for its unified REACT offering. REACT (Realtime Event and Access Correlation Technology) is a centralized, cloud-based security platform that leverages the cooperative functionality of key deployed solutions including SIEM (security information and event management), Log Management, SSO (single sign on), IDaaS (Identity Management) and access management.

“This award is about the recognition of the paradigm-changing value of a unified security initiative deployed and managed from the cloud. It’s about changing the conversation from what can I afford or internally manage, to what can I do best to prevent unwanted access while protecting online and digital data,” said CloudAccess CEO Kevin Nikkhoo.

The advantage of unified security establishes better visibility across an enterprise of any size. This provides real time answers to key security challenges such as who is logging in, what are they viewing, where is the device, how are they authorized and what is the risk impact? Nikkhoo added.

According to the organizers, a record number of nominations were submitted this year with more than 3,200 from organizations of all sizes and from virtually every industry. The ABAs include a wide variety of categories including management awards, new product awards, information technology awards, web site awards, and more.

Finalists were chosen by more than 140 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. Members of nine specialized final judging committees will determine Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among Finalists in judging that will begin next week. More than 250 executives will participate in the judging process this year.

CloudAccess is being honored in September with a number of well-known and worthy security-centric recipients. At that time, the organization will learn if they have been awarded a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie® Award.

“This has already been a monumental achievement for us,” Nikkhoo said. “As a fast-growing start-up, it’s gratifying to know our team has made significant inroads into changing how security is perceived, deployed and managed."

The Stevie Awards were created to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide.
