Ampush, founded in 2009, is a social technology company that helps brands and agencies advertise on Facebook. The company expects Andrew to play a key contributing role in continuing to drive Ampush forward during a period of expansion and investment.
Hersam is an accomplished media executive with more than 20 years of experience managing print, digital, TV, and event brands. Hersam was most recently Global Marketing Solutions, Client Partner at Facebook with Facebook’s financial services business. Prior to Facebook, Hersam served as EVP, Media for the Competitor Group, Inc. (CGI), the largest international media and events company in endurance sports, and previously as EVP and Chief Revenue Officer for Westwood One. At Westwood One, Hersam oversaw more than $500 million in radio, TV, and digital sales across the company’s brand portfolio. Prior to that, Hersam was VP/Publishing Director at Rodale, New York Advertising Director at Sports Illustrated, and held a variety of executive positions at Times-Mirror. He has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Adweek, and Ad Age.
