Corporate Magic’s Designs Earn Dallas Show Medal

Company scores prestigious DSVC award for work on Baylor Health Care System’s "Beyond Excellence" event.

Dallas, TX, June 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC) honored the messaging architects at Corporate Magic with one of its prestigious Dallas Show 2013 Medals in recognition of the production company’s exemplary work on the Baylor Health Care System Foundation’s “Beyond Excellence” public launch event.

The awards were presented on June 1st at the 45th annual Dallas Show, held at the Hotel Palomar. The event served as DSVC’s annual showcase of the year’s most unforgettable work in design, advertising, photography and illustration.

Corporate Magic was recognized for its Save the Date and Invitation designs created for the February 27th launch of the Baylor Health Care System’s $250 million fundraising campaign held in the iconic Wyly Theatre at Dallas’ AT&T Performing Arts Center. Corporate Magic’s Bonnie Kudlicki was the Art Director and Designer on the project.

“Most of the region’s top design agencies entered this prestigious competition, the vast majority of whom focus strictly on design and advertising; so we were among very good company,” said Kudlicki, Senior Art Director at Corporate Magic. “Since we are first and foremost a production company, it was an honor simply to be included in the show. To be among the winners was beyond excellent!”

The Dallas Show is one of the preeminent creative competitions in the country, judged by nationally recognized creative professionals. Only the best work is chosen from hundreds of submissions to be included in the show. The judges then narrow down from these works to identify a select few gold, silver and bronze medalists. Corporate Magic’s entry earned a bronze medal.

“We’re very proud of Bonnie for her leadership and creativity on this project,” said Jim Kirk, President and Chief Creative Officer of Dallas-based Corporate Magic. “The Dallas Show annually sets a very high bar on their winning designs, so it is truly a badge of honor to have earned this recognition.”

Also recognized with Corporate Magic on the winning project team were Clampitt Paper (paper merchant), Gruppo Cordenons-Stardream (paper) and Shirley Richardson of Big Box Little Box (printer).
