National Inventory Certification Association Announces New Ownership

A certification program must grow and remain aligned with the needs of the industry. New ownership is often the best avenue to achieve that growth.

Indianapolis, IN, July 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- National Inventory Certification Association (NICA) recently announced, “As a group of entrepreneurs in a variety of fields of interest, we have come to the decision that quality certification requires a focus and understanding from professionals embedded in this industry. We are pleased to announce that Mike and Cindy Hartman, founders of Nationwide Inventory Professionals™, have, for good and valuable consideration, taken ownership and control of the National Inventory Certification Association.”

The announcement continues, “The inventory industry is growing, and new leadership is required to take this certification program to the next level. Focus, commitment, and an understanding of the industry are imperative. Research was conducted to ensure that the owners of the National Inventory Certification Association had proven business practices that would enable this growth to continue along with the industry. Nationwide Inventory Professionals includes certification as a component of the business package; their belief in the importance and benefits of certification are evident. This is a natural fit for NICA and the Hartmans, and we are confident that we are placing NICA in good and competent hands.”

According to Johanna Curtiss, CEO of The Inventory Institute, the majority of inventory service companies are independent business owners, amounting to approximately 150 verified operating businesses throughout the United States. With this in mind, now is the perfect time to have the expertise of the Hartmans’ to guide the future direction of NICA. The transition will be completed by July 31, 2013.
