Cruising Cuisine's List of TOP 10 Celebrity Cruisers

According to Cruising Cuisine for Home Entertaining, Inc., more celebrities were linked to cruises in 2005 than ever before.

Plainville, MA, December 30, 2005 --(PR.com)-- With more than 10 million Americans cruising annually, it was only a matter of time before celebrities joined the excitement. According to Cruising Cuisine for Home Entertaining, Inc., more celebrities were linked to cruises in 2005 than ever before.

“We think it is a sign of the times,” says Cruising Cuisine’s president Elena Vakhrenova. “Cruising reflects a style of life and entertaining that borders on celebrity for most people. There is a sense of ‘rich and famous’ on board today’s cruise ships and when ‘art imitates life’ with celebrity sightings on cruise ships, it’s a sure sign that something has gone mainstream,” says Vakhrenova.

Since 2003, Cruising Cuisine for Home Entertaining has been bringing cruise-inspired recipes, cooking lessons and private parties to cruisers on both the east and west coasts. Since publishing Cruising Cuisine for Home Entertaining ($29.95;), author and publisher Elena Vakhrenova has been a noted commentator on both the cruise industry and its culinary trends. She has appeared nationwide on both television and radio.
