Mims Distributing Company Promotes Jim Bostic to Vice President of Sales, Off-Premise
Beer Distributor’s Former Delivery Manager Now Tasked with Overseeing Company’s Supermarket, Convenience and Drug Store Sales
Raleigh, NC, August 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Mims Distributing Company (http://www.mimsdistributing.com), a beer distributor that services a nine-county area in and around the Triangle, has announced that Jim Bostic has been promoted to vice president of sales, off-premise. In this position, Bostic will be responsible for supervising five area sales managers and five area delivery managers, who in turn will respectively supervise a total of 32 sales representatives and 17 delivery people. He will oversee all of the company’s sales to supermarkets, convenience stores and drug stores. Previously he served as the delivery manager, where he was in charge of all the routes for Mims Distributing’s delivery trucks.
Bostic joined Mims Distributing in 1992. Prior to joining Mims Distributing, he served for four years in the U.S. Air Force.
