Fourth Year on Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing List for Safety Sign Manufacturer ComplianceSigns.com
Once again, ComplianceSigns.com is among America’s fastest-growing private companies. With 121% revenue growth in three years, the safety-sign company ranks as the # 108 manufacturer in the entire U.S. Company President Paul Sandefer credits employees for the success.
The company earned a spot on the annual Inc. 5,000 list by achieving revenue growth of 121 percent over the past three years, an increase from 119 percent in 2012. ComplianceSigns.com ranks as the ninth fastest-growing manufacturer in Illinois, and 108th in the entire U.S. It appears to be the only safety sign manufacturer on the list.
“Maintaining growth through the recent economic climate has been a true challenge,” said company president Paul Sandefer. “Qualifying for this list four years in a row shows what fantastic people we have throughout our company. Their daily efforts to develop and produce top-quality products and provide excellent customer service are what keep our customers coming back – and keep our company growing.”
Inc. Editor Eric Schurenberg says that inclusion on this year’s list is a particularly notable achievement, explaining that the company “had to thrive through three of the toughest years this economy has seen in living memory.” Success in such times is eloquent testimony to employee creativity, resilience and tenacity, he said.
The National Center for the Middle Market describes business-to-business companies such as ComplianceSigns.com as "model links" in corporate supply chains. In a period of uncertainty and frequent shocks, their ability to deliver improves corporate customers' resiliency. These businesses make and keep American companies competitive. Within their niches, they are as innovative and service oriented as the most beloved household names, says Inc. editor-at-large Leigh Buchanan. They earn reputations simply by virtue of how well they do what they do.
