Dallas Fort Worth The Grout Medic Offers Special Discount to Raise Money for Breast Cancer Research

Dallas Fort Worth Texas The Grout Medic announces fundraising drive in October for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Dallas, TX, October 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- With a customer base made up of mostly women, The Grout Medic and its family of nearly 50 franchisees knew they wanted to do something in support of that community. At the company’s annual meeting last summer, the idea was introduced to start fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness month as one way of doing that. As a result, The Grout Medic has chosen to dedicate their fundraising to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month each October. Mike Mushinski, Vice President of Operations, has this to say about the new connection: “It is important as a company that we are socially responsible. This is a great way to get our franchise owners involved in making a difference with a great organization.” He adds that “nearly everyone’s life has been touched in one way or another by breast cancer, and everyone knows well the importance of research in finding a cure for this disease.”

The arrangement is that for every job a participating Grout Medic franchise books in October, they will contribute $5 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. BCRF remains one of the most fiscally responsible charities in the country, having earned 4 stars from Charity Navigator (out of four stars) for the eleventh time since 2002. Currently, $0.91 of every dollar spent by BCRF is directed toward breast cancer research and awareness programs.

This offer from the Grout Medic of Dallas/Fort Worth is good for the entire month of October.
