)-- Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a health and welfare benefits brokerage and consulting firm that designs, manages and implements employee benefit programs, has announced that the firm has hired Tina Nicks as the company’s coastal regional manager. In this role, Nicks is responsible for the firm’s business development efforts in the Wilmington area through networking with professionals and companies, tracking metrics and data, and creating and presenting proposals to potential clients.
Nicks brings 17 years of experience as an executive recruiter to the role, including working with pharmaceutical manufacturing companies and publishing companies. She volunteers with various organizations in the greater Wilmington area, including DREAMS of Wilmington and The Salvation Army, and she contributes to fundraising events for various organizations and causes.
Nicks received a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. A native of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Nicks resides in Wilmington with her husband.
