Fairfield Harbour In New Bern Receives Honor From North Carolina Chapter Of Community Associations Institute For Second Consecutive Year

Pinehurst, NC, October 17, 2013 --( John Stone, President of CAS, Inc., a community and homeowners association management services firm, has announced that Fairfield Harbour, a community managed by CAS, Inc., was named Community of the Year by the Community Associations Institute’s North Carolina Chapter (CAI-NC) for the second year in a row. Fairfield Harbour, a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, N.C., is the state’s only community to have received this award consecutively for two years. This prestigious distinction was awarded for the association’s exceptional work to enhance its residents’ quality of life and community property values.

CAI-NC’s Community of the Year award recognizes communities of excellence across North Carolina as well as the efforts made by the community’s board members, community members and residents. The Community of the Year award specifically evaluates the overall role of community management companies, which are heavily involved in the guidance and direction of community associations.

With more than 3,000 residents, Fairfield Harbour offers a wide array of amenities, including an 18-hole golf course operated by Billy Casper Golf, two marinas, tennis courts, a community center, library, fishing pier, boat launch ramp and various green-spaces. In addition, numerous activities, volunteer opportunities and social networks are available to residents through Fairfield Harbour.

“I am so proud that Fairfield Harbour has again received CAI-NC’s Community of the Year award,” said Stone. “This wonderful achievement shows the community’s commitment to providing all residents with the best possible services, amenities and property enhancements.”
