SMT Promotes Lisa Shanahan to Vice President of Operations

Former Vice President of Business Administration Now Responsible for Overseeing Manufacturing Systems, Remote Operations and Product Engineering for the Firm

In her new position, Shanahan is responsible for overseeing SMT’s manufacturing systems, remote operations, product engineering, help desk, quality control and internal information management.

Shanahan joined SMT in 1997 as the firm’s production coordinator for the Autograph product line. She was promoted to Autograph production manager a year later and became director of the business office in 2000. In 2003, Shanahan assumed the role of director of business administration before becoming vice president of business administration in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science from St. Joseph’s University in 1991. A native of Willingboro, N.J., Shanahan resides in Raleigh, N.C., with her husband, Joe, and their twins.
