Carol Ptak, a founder and partner of the Demand Driven Institute was awarded the Key4Women ACHIEVE award at the South Sound event.

Tacoma, WA, October 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- KeyBank recognized Carol Ptak at a luncheon with the Key4Women ACHIEVE award. The Achieve Award, launched in 2008, is an annual honor for successful women business owners who are also actively involved in their local community. In admiration of their dedication to business and community, it's KeyBank's way of celebrating women business owners.

Winners are selected based on:
- Entrepreneurial and community spirit
- Financial and management acumen
- The difficulty and risk the woman business owner has endured to achieve her success

Ptak was selected by a committee after considering her work with the local 4H dog group, the Spring Lewis County Youth Fair and her proven track record in business to restore profitability to both profit and non-profit companies.

Ptak said "With so many other deserving women, I was truly honored to be considered for this award. KeyBank has been a true partner since the beginning of the company."
