East Hanover, NJ, November 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- On Wednesday, November 20th at 8:00 a.m., Jacqueline Crosby, Esq. of Crosby Legal Seminars will be co-presenting a workshop with Janet Logan of My Coaching Services offering basic legal guidance and interviewing tips to business owners who want to make the best hiring decisions for their business needs.
Jacqueline Crosby, Esq. is a New Jersey employment and family law attorney. Licensed in New Jersey since 2007, Jacqueline founded Crosby Legal Seminars in 2009 to educate the public about various areas of the law.
Janet Logan is the founder of My Coaching Services. She is a Professional Certified Coach who has an extensive background in Human Resources in the retail industry. Janet offers career counseling and coaching services to individuals in career transition, as well as human resource consulting for business owners.
Janet and Jacqueline have partnered together to bring their complementary knowledge and skill sets to business owners requiring assistance with both the legal and human resource aspects of their businesses. This workshop will teach business owners how to protect themselves from liability by learning the difference between employees, independent contractors and interns as well as avoid bad hiring decisions by spotting red flags in an interview.
The workshop will be held at Right Click Advantage, LLC, 470 Ridgedale Avenue, Suite 2E, in East Hanover, New Jersey. Coffee and tea will be served and there is a $15 registration fee for non-members.
The workshop is the first in a new series of morning networking workshop events sponsored by the Northwest Region of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners which will offer a one hour solid skill-building workshop on a variety of valuable business topics every third Wednesday of the month.
