CAI Expands Membership Services to Reflect Changing Business Landscape

Local HR Management Firm Promotes Doug Blizzard to Vice President of Membership and Welcomes Joe Bongiovi as Managing Director, Strategic Member Services

Raleigh, NC, December 20, 2013 --( Bruce Clarke, President and CEO of CAI, a human resource management firm that helps organizations maximize employee engagement while minimizing employer liability, announced the expansion of the company’s Membership Services Division. The expansion marks the promotion of Doug Blizzard, who will now serve as CAI’s Vice President of Membership, as well as the addition of Joe Bongiovi, who will serve as Managing Director, Strategic Membership Services. Both professionals bring more than 20 years of executive HR experience to the division.

For 50 years, CAI has been a trusted local source for helping organizations navigate through murky workplace compliance issues, employee and labor relations situations, and technical human resources matters. Due in part to changing economic conditions, competition and globalization, members are also increasingly looking to CAI to help them better align their people and Human Resources initiatives with overall business objectives.

Blizzard and Bongiovi will play integral roles in expanding CAI’s solid foundation of membership services. The expanded team plans to cultivate new measures to strengthen the firm’s ability to provide HR professionals and company executives with the relevant information and services needed to succeed in today’s economy. One primary strategy will be to dramatically increase opportunities for members to learn from and share with each other. In addition to current member services, Blizzard and Bongiovi will work to add innovative services and platforms to appeal to a wider range of prospective members across the state of North Carolina.

In his new role, Blizzard will lead the company’s Membership Services Division that includes all of the services available to CAI member organizations, including advice and resolution, surveys, compliance tools and legislative advocacy.

As Managing Director, Strategic Member Services, Bongiovi will lead CAI’s Advice and Resolution Team, and will personally advise executive teams and senior HR leaders of CAI members on strategic and organizational issues, including organizational design, HR planning, mergers and acquisitions, globalization, culture development, talent, and performance management, among others.
