)-- Paragon Bank has announced that treasury management support manager Lauren Schlafer has been promoted to assistant vice president in addition to her current role. Schlafer is responsible for operations and product management for Paragon’s treasury management services. She will work with team members to coordinate new business development and risk management initiatives.
Paragon’s treasury management products and services are designed to help manage company cash flow. This service assists in streamlining administrative duties, reduces time required to collect and disburse funds and maximize cash available for investment or debt reduction. Treasury management services include commercial online banking, remote deposit service, automated clearing house, positive pay, automated investment sweep, zero balance account, lockbox, wire transfer, imaging of check, deposits and statements, payroll card and cash vault services.
Schlafer boasts more than eight years of banking industry experience. Before joining Paragon, Schlafer held positions at PNC Bank and First Citizens Bank.
Schlafer earned her bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa. She resides in Raleigh with her husband and daughter.
